Decorations can also be an integral part of celebrating Hanukkah in the classroom. It can be as simple as hanging up some blue and white streamers and making occasional visual aids to supplement students’ knowledge. Creative ways can include educational presentations in the forms of projected slideshows, posters, and other artwork.
Engage in Team Projects
Group activities play a large part in this festival, and so too can be a part of the celebration in the classroom. Student teams can be created to work on projects that will both teach and enthuse the participants. This could be anything from making some Hanukkah-themed crafts to creating films.

Families can also be encouraged to contribute to classroom Hanukkah celebrations by bringing games, cards, and foods. At the end of every activity, small prizes or tokens of appreciation can be given to the most active participants. This can be in the form of various Hanukkah related crafts that the students themselves have made.
Hanukkah in the classroom can be educational and fun for everyone involved. Through Hanukkah studies and activities, the students can learn about the history, customs, and culture. Moreover, group projects and activities can bring everyone closer and encourage the growth of a healthy school environment.
